European specification 9110310183 / eng. 6300551. Suffered a cam-chain failure on 1983. Engine and transmission removed at that time and rebuild stalled – off the road since.

Interior and fuel tank recently removed for cleaning and inspection. Pans are in good condition with localized corrosion starting in front pan adjacent to right battery tray and trailing edge of forward-most pan (where fuel tank meets). Some rust in lower door jam and rust bubbles forming on both sides of base of rear glass.

Original ‘S’ matrix oil-cooler in right-front fender and associated plumbing in the engine compartment. Aluminum rear lid. Correct Euro gauges. Aftermarket stereo. Missing glove-box trim and both folding door-pockets are damaged. Seats are velour and in need of rebuild. Dash has a couple blemishes.

Engine 6300551: disassembled for rebuild. Original injector pump and intake; aluminum pistons & cylinders out of spec. Alternator rebuilt. Starter rebuilt. MFI pump, injectors & throttle bodies should be serviced.

Transmission 901 01 7103247:  rebuild underway – complete Aug.
