Mitsubishi Delica 4×4 high-roof Japanagon with ~111k miles (179,590 kilometers). Runs and drives great with good power from the 2.5 liter turbo-diesel. Cruises comfortably at ~70MPH. Automatic transmission shifts smooth and matched to a high/low transfer case with auto-locking hubs for 4WD. Steering / brakes / tires are good.
Well equipped with power windows, power locks, remote-lock. Front and rear climate controlled and A/C blows cold. Tasteful upgrades – approx 1” lift kit and larger 265/70×15 tires on nice alloy wheels. Nardi steering wheel. Recaro front seats. Auxilary Bosch lights, Nice roof rack and ladder in the back. A couple video screens for the rear-seat passengers however A/V equipment has been removed and currently no radio.
As with most JDM vans has 3-row seating – center seat assembly folds for/aft so you can face forward or backwards – and the rear-most seat slides for and aft for more cargo room. Seats fold flat to form a bed (sort of).
Japanese turbo-diesel vans offer a lot of utility for the money. Nice flexible interior; durable drive-train and quality engineering. Sensible alternative to a Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro or Eurovan. Or a neat overland options without the cost and size of a Mercedes Sprinter 4×4.
