1992 Yamaha TZR250RS 3XV-080866 2-stroke V-twin | Early 3XV RS

The TZR250RS represents the core of Yamaha’s 3XV-series—lightweight, sharp-handling, and powered by a responsive 2-stroke V-twin derived from Yamaha’s Grand Prix program. As an early 3XV model, the RS offers a more analog and accessible take on the platform compared to the later SP/SPR variants.

This Japan-market example appears to be largely stock and presents well at a glance, with clean lines and strong overall presence. On closer inspection, there are cosmetic imperfections including cracks in portions of the fairings – maybe from storage / age / use.

A good candidate to use as it is / convert to track use or light cosmetic restoration. Nice entry point into the increasingly collectible 250cc 2-stroke class.
