Nicely sorted early GC8 Type RA. The Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA was a lightweight, performance-focused variant of the first-generation Impreza WRX, designed primarily for rally homologation. “RA” stood for “Rally Applicant,” and the model featured weight-saving measures, no ABS, and a close-ratio 5-speed gearbox. Equipped with Subaru’s EJ20 turbocharged flat-four and all-wheel drive, it laid the groundwork for Subaru’s dominance in World Rally Championship competition throughout the 1990s.
Nice condition inside and out and runs and drives great. Recent tires / oil change / shift bushing. 15″ rally wheels with new 205/50R15 tires (necessitated ft. mudflap removal); KYB Super Special RALLY struts; bolt in cage. Front skid-plate and very clean undercarriage.
Interior – clean with seats / door panels / headliner / etc. all in good condition.
Exterior – painted lime-green / zero rust.
Drive-train – engine runs well and transmission / clutch / steering / brakes – all feel excellent. Fresh oil change and shift-bushing and tires.
