After appearing at the 1987 Tokyo Motor Show, the Saurus was further enhanced for its racing debut. This car, called “Saurus Jr.”, was its derivative model debuted in 1991 Tokyo Auto Salon. Around 120 units were produced and it was also served as a school car at the Nissan Racing School, helping to foster aspiring professional racing car drivers. The engine is MA10E, a popular Nissan engine found on the March.
