1983 Honda MVX250F – MC09-1013600 w/ ~9700 miles (15,959 km).
This is an interesting piece of Honda history. After abandoning 4-stroke engines in the 500GP class, Honda created a V-3 2-stroke NS500 in 1982 which Freddie Spencer took to the 1983 500cc GP World Championship. The MVX250F is a nod to the 500GP machine and Honda’s first multi-cylinder production 2-stroke. The unusual V-3 2-stroke layout was further refined and employed in the NS400R sport-bike to good effect.
This example runs well and is in good original condition. Some paint loss on upper fairing and modest flaws in the paint, but neat piece of 2-stroke race-replica history.
Presently in Chiba, Japan pending shipment to Seattle. Price subject to change.
Similar example we sold on BaT last year.
