The Honda Dream 50 is modeled after the 1962 RC110 and subsequent Cub Racing CR110 – in commemoration of 100 million Honda motorcycles having been produced. These use an fairly exotic engine design – DOHC 50cc engine with gear-driven camshafts and twin exhaust pipes – one for each exhaust valve.

Excellent workmanship and lots of style – even though these are not fast, they’re fun to ride. Factory these are limited to about 60 km/h. Lots of other performance mods available – check auctions.yahoo.co.jp.

Aftermarket Takegawa oil cooler and CDI, Issues – petcock doesn’t flow in ‘reserve’ setting; rear tire is worn.
