Honda Dream 50 – an innovative little gem that Honda brought out in the early 2000’s. Successfully reinterpreting design and technology from the 1960’s CR110 roadracer and updating for road and track duty.
This example has just over 20k kilometers on the odometer. Starts right up and runs well with a very throaty sound. Some rust on the spokes / cases / exhaust and the tachometer is intermittent – but this bike is a lot of fun and very usable. Would be fantastic for your local tiddler-tour.
Clear WA state title in my name.
While not inexpensive when new, these were popular in Japan. In our buying trips we’ve seen examples with up to ~50k kilometers. That’s a pretty usable 50 and a testament to the solid design, high quality and serviceability.
