1995 Land Rover Discovery ES w/ 87k miles (140,756 kilometers). RHD RoW imported from Japan. Equipped with a 3.9 liter V8; full-time 4WD w/ high/low/lock transfer-case; ZF 4-speed automatic.
Runs and drives well and looks good in a rugged/patina sort of way… Proven Land Rover 4×4 drive-train – solid axles front and rear with good articulation; low-range and center-locking differential. Excellent visibility and classic 4×4 style – highly capable off-road with reasonable on-road manners.
Exterior – finished in Niagara metallic (black) w/ white roof. Original paint has weathered but suits it’s classic look. No rust.
Interior – leather; manual seats with lumbar; jump-seats -> space for 7. AC blows cold. Factory Land Rover radio. Some heat damage to tops dash & door-cards and front seats showing their age.
Drivetrain – engine runs well with good power. Good brake pad life & brake fluid flushed; aggressive Kenda Klevar M/T 225/75R15 tires with very good tread; new Bilstein shocks + steering damper.
Service – oil change; brake fluid flush; greased the chassis; Bilstein shocks + steering damper; ignition (coil / plugs / cap & rotor);
Issues – rear power windows and sunroofs inoperable. Dash pad and door-panel aged & instrument binnacle plastic retaining clips cracked. Wear consistent with age & mileage.
