1994 Mercedes-Benz G320 Gwagen. Clean example with ~99k miles / 159,151 km. Sold new by AMG Japan. Simple and rugged pre-MBUSA W463 with cloth interior with manual seat adjustments. Engine is the M104.996 inline 6-cylinder with 228 hp. 4-speed automatic transmission. ABS brakes but otherwise the tried & true Mercedes Geländewagen recipe of front / center / rear locking differentials and live-axles for unparalleled off-road capability.

Engine drivetrain: Runs and drives very nice. Transmission / brakes / steering / suspension all feel like they should. AMG muffler fitted.

Exterior: From the mild climate of Osaka. No rust and original black pearl paint is presentable however fading from sun exposure on upper fenders / hood / roof.

Interior: Nice condition with clean grey cloth. 3rd row jump-seats for 7+ passenger seating (no seat belts). Everything works as it should however AC doesn’t blow cold (compressor works, but not cold).

Issues: Paint on hood and roof has faded; ready for new tires (date to 2011); lower belt-line trim (above running-boards) has deformed from people stepping on it – probably should be removed/replaced. Muffler has some rust under aluminized paint.
