1991 BMW 850i – European specification sold new in Japan.
BaT auction closed – RNM – happy to have a discussion with Andrew @lunsey.
Equipped with the 5.0 liter M70 V12 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission. Exterior finished in Mauritius Blue Pearl paint and interior features gray Nappa Leather – both in excellent condition. This vehicle is something of a time-capsule averaging just 1800 miles per year.
Service 2021 – injectors and seals; valve cover gaskets; intake manifold gaskets; vacuum lines; oil change; transmission fluid and filter; plugs; cap & rotors; cam timing & banjo-bolts; trailing-arm bushings.
Very good condition for a 30 year old vehicle. Back in somewhat regular use this past Summer – about 900 miles in recent months.
A few items to note – upgraded 18″ M-parallel wheels; orig. radio (Japanese) inoperable; C-pillar trim loose.
