An iconic French homologation special, the Renault 5 Turbo 2 was developed from Renault’s celebrated mid-engined Group 4 rally car. Unlike the conventional front-wheel-drive Renault 5, the Turbo 2 features a mid-mounted 1,397cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels, dramatically widened bodywork, and distinctive rear-quarter air intakes.

This Japanese-market survivor is offered as a restoration project, finished in metallic blue with original Michelin TRX wheels & tires.

Showing 48,000 km, the car retains its characteristic widebody silhouette but requires comprehensive inspection and recommissioning.

Such a fun car to drive and iconic piece of the 1980s rally scene. Truly, no one does hot-hatchbacks like the French.
