Japanese import – BJ74 Is the medium wheelbase with FRP top (removable) – this example powered by a 1HZ 4.2 liter 6-cylinder diesel (N/A). Power is delivered through a 4-speed automatic transmission and conventional high-low transfercase.
Runs and drives excellent – Steering / brakes / transmission all perform as they should. New BFG AT K02 tires / alignment / inspection.
Features – 2 batteries & 24v electrical system. PTO winch. Power windows. Power mirrors. Power locks. Cold air conditioning; powerful heater. Power / tilt steering. PIAA fog-lamps.

Exterior – fantastic shape for a 34 year old vehicle. Original silver paint and graphics have held up well. Some paint-loss on front fender; small ding under LR bumper and top of LF fender; scratches and other wear. Undercarriage in good condition – consistent with low miles and reasonable climate.
Engine and Drivetrain – 1HZ 4.2 liters 6-cylinder diesel (upgrade from 13BT 4-cylinder turbo); 4-speed automatic transmission; solid axles front and rear suspended by heavy-duty leaf-springs. Manual locking hubs. High-low transfer case. Undercarriage has been well preserved.
Notes / Issues – radio for Japan frequencies topping out at 90.0MHz; wiring for audio and aftermarket equipment below-par; seating fabric pattern differs on both front & rear seats; dash-pad cracked on left side; some wear and screw holes on rear interior panels where rear compartment cabinetry etc. previously installed. ….again nice shape for a 34 year old vehicle…
