1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-4 HNR32-001927 / KRNR32RGFSLMEB. 2.0 liter (1998cc) RB20DET inline-6; 5-speed manual transmission w/ AWD transfer case.
New Yokohama tires; L/R window (83307-04U00); oil change; brake fluid flush.
Engine / driveline: starts right up an runs well. Timing belt service in 2006 at 92,041 km. Clutch and transmission feels good and general driving dynamics are good.
Interior: Grey seats / carpet / headliner in good shape with minimal wear and no dash bubble. AC blows cold however climate control display does not light up. True mileage unknown – aftermarket Tomei instrument cluster speedo / odometer inoperable (shows 105,219 km). Steering wheel and shift boot heavily worn.
Body: Black Pearl – original paint shows well however some bumps and bruises. Rust in rear fenders lips has been ground down and POR15. Some other modest rust in rear trunk lid; forward chassis longitudinals – far better than many R32 and shown in the interest of full disclosure.
GTS-4 have short gearing (4.3:1) for usable power around town and in the twisties. Still needs some minor work to recommission (LF headlight inop / gauge & display / one wheel stud buggered) but a a good starting point that won’t break the bank.
