Another neat Mercedes-Benz – the elegant CL class with the refined and rugged naturally aspirated 5.5 liter V8. Good overall condition – clean Carfax report – West coast car from new. We picked up from Palm Springs and have been driving here in Seattle putting some miles on it.
Exterior: very good – a couple blemishes on the front bumper/airdam as well as very minor scuffs on rear bumper. Otherwise clean car for the age and miles.
Interior: nice full-leather interior with heated / vented massage seats. Great options and the AC and other systems work as they should.
Drivetrain: Engine runs great and transmission shifts excellent. General driving dynamics are good and ride height adjustment works but rear bushings should be renewed.
The C215 big-body coupe is a timeless design and the naturally aspirated AMG motor is powerful, simple and rugged. Overall, a lot of car for the money!
