1995 Mercedes E320 Touring (PROJECT CAR) – final year of the highly regarded W124 E-Class touring. Only two Northern California owners and rare build with Azurite blue metallic.

Condition is mixed – quite a few small marks from past owners bumping into things and paint has some damage from exposure to the elements.

Starts right up and runs and drives – unfortunately car is overheating. After driving on the highway the temp gauge fluctuates and car boils-over. Oil and water are not mixing but have been chasing this issue – new water pump, thermostat, coolant flush. New owner should plan on doing head-gasket or looking for small crack in the head that may be letting combustion gasses into the cooling passage. Needs tires.

The mid 1999’s W124 marks the end of an era for Mercedes with traditional Engineering and Production methods delivering on specific design goals for durability and performance with the cost and efficiency of production secondary. They don’t build them like this any longer.
