Toyota Celica GT-Four RC / Carlos Sainz – one of 5000 produced to homologate the GT-4 for WRC. Equipped with a more efficient air/liquid intercooler; unique bodywork as well as transmission upgrades and Torsen limited slip rear differential.
Has ~128k miles (205,798 kilometers) and still road in it’s Shakken road-worthiness permit worthy in Japan – to Heisei 31.
Body – zero rust and looks pretty good overall however original black paint is showing it’s age with bad clearcoat and assorted bumps and bruises
Engine and drivetrain – excellent and great power with no smoking or leaks. Brakes / suspension / transmission / clutch all feel like they should. SSR wheels could use a refinish. Includes original owner’s manual and other booklets and under-hood service records for timing belt, HKS air filter and other service.
Interior – seats, door panels, carpet, rear compartment with spare and toolkit are very nice. Dash has few cracks and mods for accessories. Heater and other systems work like they should.

In the World Rally competition, the Toyota Celica ST165 / GT-4 unseated the dominant Lancia Delta Integrale with 16 WRC series wins and 3 times overall winner. WRC Driver’s Titles for Carlos Sainz in 1992; Juha Kankkunen in 1993; and Didier Auriol in 1994. Toyota took the WRC Manufacturer’s Titles in 1993 and 1994.
