1991 Toyota Landcruiser PZJ70V.

Great rig for mixed use – comfortable on the highway, efficient to drive and rugged build. Toyota built their reputation on sound engineering and durable simplicity and the early 1990’s was a high-point for this simple quality. This Land Cruiser has the excellent 1-PZ 3.5 liter naturally aspirated diesel and 5-speed manual transmission. This is the 5-cylinder version of the 1HZ with gear-driven injector pump and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and 4×4 transfer case. Great visibility and easy to drive – cruises comfortably at 65 MPH.

Runs and drives very well and new batteries in the 24 volt system. Recent timing belt change and newly serviced injector pump. Issues: some wear on drivers seat; paint on hood has faded; no carpet in the interior; tachometer reads high due to an incorrect speed-sensor – will plan to order the correct or a converter is available.
