1996 Toyota Starlet 1.3 Glanza V Turbo EP91-0098239 w/120k miles / 194k km.
The Glanza V is the top-specification EP9x chassis – equipped with 1.3 liter turbocharged and intercooled 4E-FTE producing 140 PS. Front wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transaxle. Simple andlight weight at 920kg.
This particular example is further enhanced with rear chassis stiffening bars; HKS blow-off valve; aftermarket wheels; BLITZ air cleaner, turbo timer. Momo steering wheel; Endless brakes. Has new KYB shocks however prior TRD springs don’t fit quite right (TRD shocks blown) – drives well but deserves new coil-overs…
Good engine power, shifting, brakes, etc and with it’s light weight and small-size, it’s a lot of fun. Good alternative to an EK9 Civic at less than 1/2 the price.
