1977/78 Caterham Super 7. 1 owner car out of estate of WA / Taipei auto enthusiast Gordon B. who had a shop ‘Gordon’s Auto Service’ in Taipei.
Equipped with Crossflow Kent / Cortina motor w/ twin Weber carburetors. Original correspondence between Gordon and Caterham and Ford of Taipei.
Not run in 10+ years – needs recommissioning. Comes with what’s shown plus two windscreens. Hood is dented from items set on it. Exhaust is rotten. Not running.
New Pertronix distributor and plug wires installed. New coil included but ignition not wired up. With a jump-box, engine turns over slowly – like a bad solenoid / bendix.
New owner should plan on new battery + starter + flush fuel + tidy up wiring + new tires + install header. Flush brakes and clutch.
No chassis plate. Appears to be a Caterham / Universal Radiator chassis (not Arch Motors). Can not find a mfg. stamp… Buyer can pursue paperwork as a kit-car; bonded title; or http://cartitles.com.
