1993 Toyota TownAce w/ ~129k miles (214,852 kilometers). Nice shape inside and out.
Exterior: Light custom touches – aftermarket wheels and suspension / custom grey paint and dark tint give this a great look while retaining the utility you’d expect.
Interior: Clean cloth seats. 8 seat interior. Rear-most seats fold up for large cargo capacity while retaining seating for 5.
Engine and Drivetrain: Efficient and durable 2.2 liter turbo-diesel 3C-T engine mated to an automatic transmission and traditional RWD drivetrain. Timing belt replaced in 2014 at 185,701 km. Currently on studless snow tires
As with most JDM vans – 3-row seating – center seat assembly rotates 180 degrees for facing forward or backwards – and the rear-most seats fold up for more cargo room.
Toyota diesel vans offer a lot of utility for the money. Durable drive-train and Toyota engineering makes for a sensible alternative to a Volkswagen Vanagon or Eurovan. Nice alternative to a Mitsubishi Delica and worth considering if you like the Mercedes Sprinter and Metris for a small fraction of the cost.
